Our goal at Meredith Candle Company is to create candles that burn exceptionally well and have an extraordinary fragrance. This is done by using the best of ingredients and constantly testing each batch of candles we make. All of our candles are hand poured using meticulous methods and batch control. We are perfectionists and will not sell any candle or product at our retail store located at the Shoppe’s at Red Hill Cottages on Route 25 in Moultonboro NH that we don’t feel is the best quality and value.

Soy candles have become increasingly popular in the marketplace over the years as consumers move to more “green” products. The benefits of soy wax are many. Soy wax is a renewable resource, produced from natural U.S. grown soybeans, whereas paraffin candles are produced from crude oil.

Soy wax is environmentally friendly and healthier to burn than paraffin candles. Soy candles have been shown to be approximately 90% cleaner burning than paraffin which means that you will not have build up of soot in the air where you live and breath. Soy wax burns cooler than paraffin and with the proper care, can result in a longer lasting candle, up to 50% longer.
